As I meander through the pages written in journals from someone's life of long ago, I discover there are unwavering bonds that link us from the past to the present.
Love, family, home and health are the constants that transcend generations.

Beautiful post but had to comment on "Prelude"....a nest is all about the home, family and where love rests…I too collect nests for as long as I can remember, always have been attached in some way to them never knowing why until not long ago…they are to me a symbol of all that is significant in life. Thanks for sharing your lovely earthly treasures.

Such true words and relevant in the past and the present. It seems these tough times remind us to get back to basics...and what really matters the most. It's people that matter the most, the human heart, community, not money. A great and inspiring post...beautiful picture.
