The architecture of the building itself is a delight to the connoisseur of history... wooden plank floors, high vaulted ceilings and huge original pane windows that allow the sunlight to filter in, seducing creativity and imagination.
The proprietress Jocelyn captivates you with her knowledge, appreciation of the past and ability to make one feel a part of the community.
A sisterhood lingers within this place evolving from a desire to create something beautiful...
I for one have fallen under its spell...

i agree with June...i don't do that kind of work...but the shop looks inspiring to me non the less for the lovely colors and textures...not to mention i am swooning over that darling crib, bed jacket, and the hanger it is on...have a beautiful weekend Susan!!!

What a lovely shop Susan. I could spend many a happy hour browsing those beautiful cupboards. I love storage of any kind and the way the wool and materials are stacked and displayed is an absolute delight!

I would dearly love to be 'crafty' but my fingers can't do what my brain asks now, and anyway, I was never very artisitic! Such a perfect place to be spellbound! Oh how I miss browsing through shops to find just the perfect one to wrap up in. Winter seems to always take too long this time of year. You have inspired me to take an afternoon fieldtrip soon!
