When witches go riding,
and black cats are seen,
the moon laughs and whispers,
'tis near Halloween.

I'm sure that any witch on your doorstep would be a very well-dressed witch!
We don't get any trick or treaters up here, but we'll go to the firehall to see the little ones at the bonfire, roast some hotdogs and marshmallows and watch the fireworks.

I just love that little witch and pram. It's hard to believe that Halloween is almost here. Thank's for stopping by my blog, my little Sugar managed to take one of the fringes off what I think is a Victorian double weave coverlet the other day and she was so proud she actually brought it over to show it off!

Such fascinating little arrangements. Halloween has only really got going in the UK in the past few years, unlike in the States and Canada where it's been really popular for years, I believe.

We don't get any trick or treaters in our village but we are going on a special ghost walk around our local town on Saturday!

Happy Halloween too! Jeanne x

Thank you so much Susan! I love your little witch... and cute Halloween arrangements! In Sweden we celebrate “All Hallows' Eve” But we don´t have any tricks or treat here yet, but I think it´s coming. In Sweden that’s tradition to visit the Church and graveyard on Hallows eve… and light candles for the souls. The "Halloween thing" with witches and ghost is a new here… but I love it! :)

Thank you for your visit in my blog!

Happy Halloween to you too Susan! :)

I love the music on your blog ~ it's enchanting. I could listen to it all day long.

I have a framed print of the Emily Dickinson quote that is in your sidebar. It was the first thing I hung on the wall in my new workroom / studio.

Have a beautifully blessed weekend!

Such cute Halloween photos! We do not really celebrate Halloween that much here in Norway (even though it is catching on) but I do have fond memories of my first proper Halloween two years ago in San Francisco. But I seem to remember the Halloween figures as much more scary than yours!
