Holiday Hometown Tour

The little historic town in which I dwell is a perfect vision of Holiday celebration.

Most decorating takes on a natural theme...

Evergreen boughs, garlands and beautiful wreaths adorning the doors...

There are candlelight strolls, horse drawn carriages and homes displaying the true meaning of Christmas...

Ah - you live in a beautiful town! I had a good look at all the houses and the street scene - all familiar to me from many summer visits to your town. There's always a rental house from the festival for my sister to live in - a different one each year - and I love to walk up and down the streets, imagining the interiors that might go with the wonderful exteriors!
This morning, on a walk in town, a friend and I passed a house with a white picket fence dressed in red bows and greenere. At the same instant we both said 'Niagara-on-the-Lake'!

Oh my gosh sweet. Do you know a good house for sale up there. What a gorgeous town. I love the feeling and heart it looks like it has. Just walking it's streets would be a pleasure for me. The buildings are beautiful.

Thank you Susan for your really sweet birthday wishes!

You live in such a beautiful town - the architecture must be a source of inspiration for you. I especially love the little house in the first photo - it seems a perfect miniature of a much grander colonial home - absolutely gorgeous photos.
