Creativity

So when the wind is howling and the snow is falling, what does one do to distract from the weather?

Well you dig through a pile of antique hand-woven blankets that have seen better days and been loved for a century...

Or you sort through a stash of vintage velvets...

Gather the jars of treasured buttons...

Rummage up a few spools of old thread...

And hand sew a silly rabbit of course.

Featured in Maggie Bonanomi's book, ' Nature's Offerings' its a perfect way to pass the afternoon...

I came across your blog by a comment you left on "A Cottage in the Woods". Your blog name caught my eye because my daughter's name is Maddie. Then I saw where you are from-my son played baseball in Niagra Falls this past summer on a Fellowship of Christian Athletes college team. I was fortunate enough to drive him there and back and got to see a small smidgon of your beautiful area. I'm off to read your posts. Blessings! P.S. I do hope you show us your bunny!

Thank you for visiting my blog and leaving a comment. I like the idea of re-cycling the old into the new and into cute rabbits to boot.
