Perhaps

With a 2°C reading on the thermometer just outside the door, perhaps Spring is hiding beneath a thermal blanket and having a bit of a lie-in...

But we shall not despair... with Victoria magazine's newest publication in hand, 'Gardens of Bliss'

and a proper place to daydream (if only in my imagination) I shall indulge and savour every page...

As warm sunshine reflects off my sewing table and a sampling of French General's 'Pom Pom de Paris' fabric is calling out, I have chosen a fun project...

This Tilda booklet is bursting with cute and quick delights to create.

And with this wonderful antique ironstone soup tureen I captured at the auction, I'll plant crocus and hyacinth for a table top display... just so I can play in the dirt.

Have a great week!

Your siamese cats are very pretty. I had one years ago for 13 years and she was the most loyal cat. Your photos's of the dolls are a treat. Cheri

Beautiful French General fabrics. They are such wonderful quality too. But the kitties, well they steal the show. Lovely cats and they always remind of the two my Grandparents had, Abbey & Oliver. Two toddler proof Seal points. :)

Dear me...you always seem to tempt me with such lovelies Susan. Kitties (and Miss Maddie surely), fabric, antique pottery, and a bit of indoor gardening, what could possibly be better?

Happy day to you...

Oh Susan! A fellow Victoria lover!!! I have every issue since the magazine was born waaaaayyyy back, and look forward to savoring each page too. Those fabrics you chose are gorgeous, and perfect colors with Easter coming up. I need to run over to the French General now that spring has sprung and see what lovely things they have too. Sounds like you are having fun no matter where Spring is, your fabrics look inviting to play with, I bet you have a rather nice stash of those prettys xxx
Just look at your Siamese cat, they always look so cool and aloof yet they are so loving aren't they, gosh I do love cats any sort actually, they are soothing to the soul....like French fabric , and sunny days are..but much more loving and fun.

What lovely bits of bliss in your post today! I love the fabric. And I must admit I'm partial to that Victoria magazine. I had the good fortune of writing several of the articles! Thanks for the inspiring post.

I'm not sure where Spring went to... it seems to have just passed us by. What's up with that?

But look at the lovely greenhouse you can go to ~ wonderful! Spring is in there for sure! :)
