Wisdom

A wise owl once said ' if it is frigid outside, stay cozy indoors...'

A magnificent Snowy owl surveying his kingdom...

It has been bitterly cold here in the Great Lakes region these past few days. Heeding the owl's wisdom it is by the fireside I have remained.

Indulging in a few knitting projects, such as this darling toddler pixie hat in the most luxurious handspun South African wool top and blue- faced Leicester yarn. There is a hint of sparkle spun in making it perfect for a special gift...

Perhaps he too is thinking Spring... alas my kingdom for a Princess as he takes flight.

I love your new header- so beautiful like Maddie :-)

A Harry Potter Owl- wonderful majestic birds... my favourites- so mystic...

It´s cold here, too- but let us enjoy our sweet home :-)

Owls are one of my favorites ~ and a Snow Owl ~ fantastic! Always a good idea to stay inside and do a little creativeness when the weather is not nice. :)

Keep warm!

Beautiful photos. I wonder if your pixie hat is like the one that I've made for toddlers. Boy or girl, a pixie hat on a two year old is the cutest thing.

The owl got it right!
It is also so very cold and snowy here, it is never ending and I look forward to roses...oh just not to see snow anywhere.
But in a few days we will say...next month is Spring!!!
Your knitting is beautiful and just the right thing to do on such cold days.
I am going back to sewing now, it's cozy in my studio.
Warm hugs and thoughts,
Evi

I'm with the owl! I stay inside when it's cold out since I'm not one who enjoys freezing temperatures. We had a break from the cold yesterday with warm temps that had most everybody working in their yards. I've been sick all week so I sat on the porch for some fresh air:).

Blessings,

Kim
