Daydreams

For those of us living in the Northeast winter has yet to release her icy grasp. And though I love this season of falling snow and starlit nights where the moon reflects off the frosty fields below, I am beginning to hope for signs of spring. The chirping of a robin and snowdrops peeking out from their winter slumber, shall soon announce the seasons arrival.

In the meantime I will daydream of fairytale castles and rose laden gardens. I will entice my imagination to drift off to exotic lands, flower petal strewn paths or a beach along the seashore...

Is spring calling to you?

If I tell you that I always loved Davy Jones singing "Daydream Believer" will that answer your question?!? I heard birds the other day and it made me hopeful!!

It is snowing here today..and I love it...however, I saw my first pair of robins on Wednesday and yesterday while heading to town to pick up a few groceries, the world had a spring type look to it and here along the roadside gathering tanks and sap lines are being run (On our property too) and that always tells me spring is almost here...another month possibly 1 or two more storms and winter will say goodby until next year.

Have a wonderful day,
Doreen

Ahhh, Spring! We were hopeful that signs of spring had arrived last week...but this morning we awoke to another snowfall! Here's to warmer days!

Hmmm...- you've started a Monkey's thing.
You know, we've had quite a bit of rain but I still am enjoying the dampness. It's nothing like you have, of course. So, I'll meet you at the castle when the skies clear. Wouldn' it be great if you really DID come here and got to Castle of Ulla? I'd dream about that!!

You are a dreamer too...perfect!!
I love the romantic castle..
My branch is out of the garden, I cut them early and a few hours of warmth and they are opening petals, and showering my mantle tops with pollen.
Happy dreaming of springtime and soft scented breezes...

Spring has sprung here on the west coast. I have crocus' blooming and daffodils budding. My hands are itching everday to play in the cool, moist soil.
Gorgeous pictures on this post!
