Enter At Your Own Risk

That should be the sign on the front porch as you enter this dazzling haven for beads. After you have passed through it's cheery front door you become transfixed by the goodies held within. This is part of the seduction of Serendipity Beads.

There are beads and baubles in every hue and color. Exotic ones from all over the world beckoning you to touch and envision their splendor.

I went in looking to pass some time and to find a particular one. I came out more than an hour later with a wee paper bag full and my head still in the clouds.

If you have such a place in your area, pay them a visit. You'll be so surprised by the delights hidden inside. And I'll bet my bottom dollar you can't come out with just one bead!

I've got two places only 5 minutes from me....I love to go there and ooo and ahhhh over all the beautiful colours, sizes and shapes. I just have to touch them... pick them up and of course... take them home in little baggies...even if all I do is sort them and put them in my own containers at home. Silly hey?

so far...I only use them on my dolls, or bears to dress up an outfit...or as part of the dangly bits of my origami ornaments...but I do love to collect some beauties... in case... Who knows what I might try next in the crafting department..??

Oh, boy- that IS alot of beads. So what are you going to do with them?? I'm thinking Bo Derek's hair in '10'?

I must have been a magpie in my last life - I am mesmerized by anything that sparkles...beads certainly fit the category! There used to be a wonderful bead shop in San Francisco in the 60's called Yone (Yonay). I still daydream about the treasures it held.

oh my, that looks like a wonderful place! I would buy lots and lots, that I know. (Probably too many) but how much fun would it be to create pretty things with those?

Are you making something with beads?

The only way I could come out without too many would be to leave all $$ and plastic at home and pray they don't offer credit!

I love using beads in my embroideries and sure could add to my stash in that shop!
