Pieces of Art

'Tis mild, breezy and cloudy today, a perfect one for airing the quilts.

Escaping from their muslin slips they are free to flutter in the wind. The clouds protect them from the sunshine, which can be hindering to their health. The gentle gusts will fluff each one as they share their pastel colors, bringing smiles to passersby.

I call them pieces of art that warm the heart. Can spring be too far behind?

Very beautifully crafted, quilts are just wonderful. This one looks really different, the colour is so gentle and pretty.

I bought some 'Hearts in hands' from Katie, unfortunatley, most things had sold by the time I got up and switched on. Having said that I am thrilled. I love Katies work and I like to just have these small touches all through our home from artists I admire. So many people are so very talented, yet unknown to the larger world, but not unknown to all of us, and that makes them even more special does it not?
Have a lovely weekend Susan and thanks so much for popping by.
Hugs Lynn xx

I'm always amazed when I see quilts. I agree with you- they are pieces of art. That pink one is beautiful and looks perfect right where it is.

Isn't the smell of fresh aired blankets INCREDIBLE!! One of my favorite scents in the whole world. Hope all is well. Such nice quilts you have!

Imagine...you have been able to hang quilts out in the cold northeast, while here in "sunny" California it is gray, cold and raining yet again! My bulbs are starting to pop up - freesias and grape hyacinths - so I know that spring will come eventually.
